This two-part part series is designed to help nurses reduce their legal liability when providing and documenting patient care. It emphasizes the importance of providing care that meets accepted standards of nursing practice and carefully documenting that care to reduce legal liability for both the individual nurse and the employer. Included are realistic hospital and courtroom scenarios that clearly depit the information given.

The educational packet includes: program descriptions, learning objectives, complete course outlines, discussion questions, post-viewing multiple-choice questions, blank answer sheets, glossary, appendixes, bliography and sign-in sheet.

Cost:

$20 for 2 contact hours (1 hour per program), payable by credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover Card).

Process:
|
In order to earn the contact hours, participant must view the programs, study the accompanying written materials and successfully complete the included tests. A passing grade of 80% is required. Completed Answer Sheets and Sign-In Sheet with credit card information to must be mailed to:
